Rust Belt Roadtrip

I just found this blog written by urban planning students, practitioners and organizations: Rust Belt Roadtrip 2009.  I would also like to do such a roadtrip, stopping to talk to sustainability practitioners of all industries and silos.  But until that happens, the descriptions in this blog will suffice.  Maybe I’ll do my roadtrip on a bike!

My friend and cohork in the project to make a social networking site for regional collaboration around sustainability, David Pearl, is also touring the “Green Belt” for his new documentary, Polycultures: Food Where We Live.  So if you live around the Great Lakes region – go meet him, watch his movie, and sign up for the social networking site about urban sustainability and collaboration.
