Pop Up City Panda

Panda, man, you rock.

My buddies over at the Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative (CUDC), Gauri Torgalkar and David Jurca, made this video to advertise their new publication, Pop Up City, which is about sustainable urban re-development and temporary uses of vacant urban spaces.

The animation is a winner of MOCA Cleveland’s Neighborhood Watch Video Competition!  The video competition is a part of MOCA’s new exhibit, There Goes the Neighborhood, which opened Friday, June 5th and will run until August 16th.

The book itself, Urban-Infill Volume 2: Pop Up City can be ordered from Amazon or from the Shrinking Cities Institute website.

I definitely recommend that you check it out.
